Sharon and Jerry have been active in their trucking ministry traveling from coast to coast singing and witnessing for the Lord Jesus while making a living with their truck since 1994.
They also support several trucking ministries, such as, TFC (Transport For Christ) Coast to Coast, Canada and Russia; TMI (Truck Stop Ministries) Joe and Jan Hunter, Jackson, GA; God's Trucking Ministry (Charles "Hoppy" Hopkins, Jessup, Maryland); Trans Alive USA Miistry, Bob Hataway, Forth Worth, Texas and Founder of the Truckers Day of Prayer at the truck shows, which Sharon and Jerry have had the privilege of providing the music, for a couple of years.
We have found it to be an honor to work with new ministries in spreading the good news of the Lord as He unites us together for His Glory.
In Dallas, Texas, at the Great American Truck Show (GAT), Focus on the Family sponsored a discussion on "Strengthening Your Family For The Long Haul." The panel members included, Steve Reed and Dr. Bill Myer (from Focus on the Family), Randall Publishing co., of the Overdrive Magazine, TFC, TMI, and Covenant Trucking. Sharon and Jerry Benson were honored when asked to be a part of this panel since Jerry is a owner/operator and Sharon supported him on and off the road since 1974. They shared their experiences and observations of today's life, hoping to encourage other drivers and their families. The answer to all everyday problems is Jesus Christ.
When ministering in the churches they find active professional drivers, retired drivers, and many involved in the trucking industry and are thrilled to be able to share Jesus with them. The trucking ministries are starting to be known more. For many years this ministry wasn't recognized or know to exist.
